Car and Van Tax Calculator

Company vehicles are considered to be a benefit in kind by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC).

In qualifying circumstances you are required to pay tax on the value of the benefit, depending on several things such as, the car's price - including any accessories, its carbon dioxide emissions and the the type of fuel it uses.

The value of the benefit may be less if you pay something towards its cost. If your employer provides you with fuel to use for your private motoring, you will have to pay tax on this as a separate benefit in kind.

We have provided this easy to use tax calculator allows you to calculate the benefit in kind value of your chosen vehicle and it's likely monthly tax implications.

Alongside the useful tax calculator we have also provided an overview brochure for further information.

As in all financial matters we would advise that you consult with your accountant or personal financial advisor as to your individual or company circumstances.
